Our Neighborhood: Marlbank Farm

Marlbank Farm is a neighborhood of more than 330 single family homes located off Old York Hampton Highway in Yorktown, Virginia. We are located a few miles from the York River and the Yorktown Battlefield. The community is bordered to the north by Wormley Creek and is characterized by its wooded lots and family-friendly environment.

Established in 1959, the Marlbank Recreation Association (MRA) was created to be the recreation and social organization for the Marlbank Farm neighborhood. The MRA is given authority to enforce the covenants, conditions, and restrictions of the recreational facilities within the neighborhood. The association and its facilities are home to numerous social and athletic events throughout the year including the annual Oyster Roast, the Mudtoads Swim Team, and the annual Turkey Toad Trot.
